The Altamont Elementary School PTA brings together parents, teachers, students, and the Altamont community to enrich the learning experience of our students. Active parents at Altamont Elementary School make a huge impact fundraising, helping in the classrooms, and engaging the community.

Purpose of the PTA:

​

  • Promotes the welfare of children and youth in home, school and in the community.

  • Raises the standards of home life.

  • Secures adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth.

  • Closes the gap between the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth.

  • Facilitates collaboration between educators and the general public to secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social, and spiritual education.
